GianP "building blocks" for FS9

The following libraries are "freeware for freeware usage only".
They work with FS2004 ACOF only.

I suggest using "TreePlanter Version 4.1" by George Davison to populate your scenery with trees.

"Old" objects converted to FS9 format - Soaring environment Rel. 1.0 - May 10, 05      268KB The library provides "old-good" FS scenery objects converted to the new RIFF/MDL9 format that is managed using XML/BGLComp and other on-top tools. Available Objects Source used (pre-FS9) - 3 trailer vans for glider - BGL (LIDA-pst2*) - Glider, ASK13 - BGL (LIDA-gli2*) - Glider, DG-100 - FSDS v2 api(^) - Glider, ASK21 - FSDS v1.6 api(^) (*) from "Asiago 2005" scenery by Claudio Grassi. (^) from Wolfgang Piper site, with author permission. The following characteristics, unavailable in the original models have been added: - Visibility management using LOD, - Very precise crash volume. The "new" objects are the result of my "Legacy to FS9" process, aimed to preserve some nice objects by converting them to the latest MSFS "3d technology". This to provide great advantages in terms of performance, reliability and (may be) FS10 compatibility. Trees, autogen behavior - using Gerrish Gray's "trees_v3" textures Rel. 1.0 - Jan. 06, 05      31KB - Available Jan. 16 100+ trees using the beautiful Gerrish Gray's textures from "trees_v3.zip". The tree models stored in this library have the following characteristics: - Crossing surfaces, like autogen trees, - Sunlight effect (and night) very-very similar to autogen trees, - Suppressed ground shadow, like autogen trees, - Very precise crash volume, when they aren't scaled up/down, - Visibility limit similar to autogen trees (but no fade-in), - Four seasons livery, with snowy winter; different from autogen. The trees are exactly tailored on the textures available in trees_v3 package (FS2002 version dated September 4, 2002). In the (unusual) case you don't have Gerrish's textures you also need to download his package from one of the Internet FS repositories; i.e. Avsim, Flightsim, etc. This library works in the Northern hemisphere only. CREDIT: Gerrish Gray, for the textures. I've tried to contact him, before making the library available, without success.
